PURE HEART MEDITATION GUIDE

A Black-and-White Printable Guide
Integrated with Pure Mind & Pure Love
— G. Ross Clark

Introduction

This guide presents ten deep meditation practices for accessing and abiding in Pure Heart. They are designed to be gentle, trauma-sensitive, and spiritually inclusive, drawing from Buddhist calm abiding, Christian contemplative prayer, and the Pure Mind / Pure Love framework. Each practice includes a phrase of intention and an audio-ready script.

The Pure Mind · Pure Heart · Pure Love Framework

Pure Mind refers to clear, spacious awareness. Pure Heart is the softening and alignment of that awareness with kindness and receptivity. Pure Love is the natural outflow—blessing, compassion, and goodwill toward all experience. These practices move gently through this arc.

The Ten Pure Heart Practices (Printable Guide)

1. Heart-Centered Settling

Phrase of Intention: Pure Heart

Sit comfortably. Bring attention to the center of the chest. Notice sensations without trying to change them. Allow the heart to rest. When the mind wanders, gently return to the phrase Pure Heart.

2. Breathing Through the Heart

Phrase of Intention: Breathing in kindness, breathing out ease

Sense the breath flowing in and out of the heart space. Let the breath be natural. Soften the chest with each exhale.

3. Including Experience in the Heart

Phrase of Intention: This belongs in the heart

Whatever arises—thoughts, feelings, memories—let it be known within the heart. No analysis, only inclusion.

4. Metta as Pure Heart

Phrase of Intention: May my heart be gentle

Offer loving-kindness inward. Allow warmth or goodwill to arise naturally.

5. Meeting Pain with Pure Heart

Phrase of Intention: Pure Heart meets this

If pain or fear is present, feel it gently while staying anchored in the heart.

6. Undivided Heart Awareness

Phrase of Intention: Undivided Heart

Rest as awareness without separating observer and experience.

7. Contemplative Pure Heart (Christian)

Phrase of Intention: Blessed are the pure in heart

Rest the heart before God in silence. Receive rather than strive.

8. Allowing the Heart to Be

Phrase of Intention: I allow my heart to be

Let the heart be exactly as it is. Notice how permission reveals softness.

9. Calm Abiding in the Heart

Phrase of Intention: Resting in Pure Heart

Stabilize attention gently on the heart or breath. Return without judgment.

10. Effortless Abiding

Phrase of Intention: Already here

Release all technique. Rest as being itself, rooted in the heart.
